Lego Birthday Party Ideas

My boys are incredibly obsessed with Legos. So of course it was a no-brainer when deciding what kind of party to throw for my 8-year-old. I had a lot of fun decorating the table. And the kids definitely had fun eating all the treats (along with some pizza).

When the party guests arrived we got straight to work ~ building with legos, that is. Truly I think we could have just played with legos the entire 2 hours and that group of kids would have been content. We made cars and raced them, built custom minifigures (to drive the cars, of course), timed who could build the tallest tower in 60 seconds, played a lego toss game, tried to pick up legos with a straw and transfer them to a plate, and enjoyed a few rounds of lego bingo.

And of course we sang to the birthday boy and ate cupcakes!

We sent the guests home with party bags filled with lego chocolates (I made those! It was actually quite fun), minifigures, and lego candies.

How did you make the lego heads on a stick in M&M's? What did you make them from? I can't tell. Great job on this party and great ideas!! I needed some extra ideas! Thanks!

It's always fun to google "Lego birthday party" for ideas and then see pictures of some of your favorite people! Great ideas - I'm sure I'll be stealing some for Jasper's party.
