This year for Christmas, I made dress-up costumes for each one of my children. For my one-year-old girl, I had fun making this easy no-sew tutu and matching headband.
The instructions for the tutu are found here. I found this shortcut on Pinterest to easily cut the tulle. I bought the tulle, ribbon, elastic, and fake cherry blossom branch all at Walmart and the project only cost me around $5. Even more importantly, I was able to easily finish it in just over an hour. Time is precious when you have three young children!
To make the headband, I simply covered a plain plastic headband (I bought a pack of headbands at the 99 cent store) with brown ribbon, and then I hotglued fake cherry blossoms and some layered circles of tulle (just slightly larger than the blossoms) onto the headband.
